russo and billy conspiracy theory!!!!
I think russo has been listening to those solo billy years..3/71-10/74 with mickey pounding too!so hes got em both wrapped up in one!
or is billy coming out of russo or is russo coming out of billy or is billy hiding backstage while russo hits cotton sticks>??? ;)
however its happening it sure is a joy to experience! blessed be this band!
Thanks Charlie! closest aud to the oade brothers in years...that I have heard! :)

Great recording of an average show
First, I want to give a big thanks to Chuck for his recording. Nice work. As for the show, I'd rate it as a little better than average. Althea was the highlight of the show for me. I am always a little bummed when they roll out One More Saturday Night as the encore on a Saturday - it just seems like phoning it in.
I am probably a little tainted as I was one of the many who left the floor during the second set and couldn't get back in for 45 minutes due to security letting too many people onto the floor.
Good recording of what for me was an off night. I am actually enjoying the music more listening to it a second time.

Choppy at times but overall very good
Althea is smokin, the Peaceful Valley jam lovely, Touch of Grey well played, a masterful Help on the Way, Let it Grow starts our sluggish but ends with intensity, and a very strong I Know your Rider.

I always feel so spoiled when I hear a show like this that features Slipknot split into three pieces as a sort of loopback. It provides such continuity for the brain and makes the whole thing...eh...very roller-coaster hilly. I liked the Little Light -> West La -> Peaceful Valley the most of this show, if only for how PV's harmonizing settles things down so nicely.
